Welcome to US Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 07-12,
Barnegat Light NJ. Located on Long Beach Island, we meet
at Coast Guard
Station;
Barnegat Light on the third Friday of each month at 1930
(7:30 PM) HRS.
The US Coast Guard Auxiliary was established by an act
of Congress in 1939. Ever since that time we have been
an important and valuable arm of the US Coast Guard in
"performance of any Coast Guard function, duty, role,
mission or operation authorized by law."
Since the formation of our Flotilla in 1969, Flotilla
7-12’s dedicated, motivated, and highly
trained Auxiliarists have been assisting the Coast Guard
in the primary mission of ensuring boating safety by
teaching boating safety and seamanship. We also perform

safety checks, marine and environmental safety
patrols and surveys, search and rescue, as well as
public awareness programs and recruiting. Some members
perform specialized services such as watch standing at
Coast Guard stations, Commercial Fishing
Vessels (safety) checks and other safety and Homeland
Security operations.
Members receive the finest Coast Guard training
available and we have extensive opportunities
to contribute to the Coast Guard and Coast Guard
Auxiliary. Together we are TEAM COAST GUARD.
