Flotilla 7-12

Meets at the Barnegat Light Coast Guard Station located at 6th and Bayview, Barnegat Light, NJ 08006.
Our meetings are normally held on the third Friday of the month at 1930 (7:30 P.M.) If you are considering joining the auxiliary, please feel free to visit us at one of our meeting. Click the "Join Us" button above or on our home page and send an email to our "Recruiting Team."
Our Flotilla also has a weekly get together at the Barnegat Diner on Gunning Road in Barnegat, NJ. These get together's are not formal meetings rather as an opportunity for fellowship and to enjoy a hearty breakfast together. The breakfast get together starts at 0900 (9:00 A.M.) and breaks up whenever everyone is ready to leave.
Points to consider:
1. The Coast Guard Auxiliary is the civilian, non-military component of the United States Coast Guard.
2. The Auxiliary was created by an act of Congress in 1939.
3. Our mission is to support the United States Coast Guard and the Department of Homeland Security in all of their missions except military or law enforcement.
4. Our primary thrust is to work with recreational boaters to ensure boating safety.
5. There are more than 27,000 volunteer Coast Guard Auxiliary Members nationwide.
6. The Coast Guard Auxiliary welcomes a diversity of dedicated people.
7. We want other people interested in recreational boating safety who are willing to assist the Coast Guard in their capacity as members of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
8. We need you to help make boating safer for all.
9. Flotilla 7-12 5NR and all Auxiliary Units want quality men and women who are at least 17 years of age that possess the necessary qualifications.
10. The Coast Guard Auxiliary is not a Yacht Club.
